Enterprise season 5 on Netflix?

First of all - I apologize for the lack of updates. Real life is the cause.

But I have to make time to post this because for the first time since Star Trek: Enterprise ended its four-season run, there might be an actual possibility of a 5th season.

How come? Thanks to Netflix, who's been getting into the business of series production with original content like House Of Cards and recently resurrecting an ended show like Arrested Development.

This is not a rabid fans' move to try to save their dead show; it's actually a real thing going on.

There is a campaign to get Enterprise back to life with a 5th season, it's got a Facebook page that you can check out here: http://www.facebook.com/StarTrekEnterpriseSeason5NetflixCampaign
And the best thing is that there are actual conversations going on to make this happen.

One of the big names behind this campaign is no other than Doug Drexler, who's been responsible of the art, design, special effects and make-up departments of the franchise for decades (he also worked on Battlestar Galactica and Caprica, and is currently CG supervisor behind SyFy's Defiance), and CBS (owner of the Star Trek franchise) is willing to make it happen if production costs are set to a bare minimum.

What they're up to: Jolene Blalock

This will be a short post.

And I need to fill up space.

Why?

Because Jolene Blalock has not been doing anything lately on the acting front.

She celebrated her 37th birthday a few weeks ago, and she seems to be entirely dedicated to be a housewife and a mom to her soon to be 2 years-old son Ryder James.

On a related news, her last movie "Sinners and Saints" was released on DVD and Blu-Ray on January, 2012.

What they're up to: Scott Bakula

As a follow-up on what the Star Trek Enterprise stars are doing these days, today we will start with Scott Bakula.

After TNT cancelled his show Men Of A Certain Age, he pretty much decided to stay away from the cameras for some time, so to speak.

Last fall, he traveled to Europe and made his United Kingdom stage debut in the world premiere of "Terrible Advice", a new play from Saul Rubinek ("Warehouse 13"), at the Menier Chocolate Factory in London.

Lately, he's been involved in off-stage activity against the merger of the two major actor's syndicates in the U.S., SAG and AFTRA.

Those who are willing to see him again on screen, will have to watch Desperate Housewives: he signed up for a role on the show, and he will guest-star on several episodes as  an attorney working for Bree (Marcia Cross). No news on when these epìsodes will be aired, but it won't be too long, since the show is on its last season.

And those who would like to meet Scott Bakula in person, rejoice: he will attend the 2012 Wizard World Toronto Comic Con on April 14-15 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre in downtown Toronto, Canada, alongside other sci-fi/fantasy celebrities like Jeri Ryan, Amy Acker, Dean Stockwell, Paul Wesley, and others. Save the Enterprise books and novels

Thanks to my good friend The Middleman, I found out about a new campaign; this time it is all about saving the Star Trek books and novels published by Simon & Schuster Inc.

The guys and gals at The Delphic Expanse are asking for your help because ENT novels, and even novels from all the other Trek shows, are being significantly reduced.

If you're wondering what does this have to do with you, I'll let you know: as Star Trek Enterprise ended back in 2005, a series of novels were published by Simon & Schuster Inc. that kind of followed the story. And now they've decided to stop publishing those books and novels.

Do you want to know more? Head to http://www.thedelphicexpanse.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=4289 and find out how you can help.

Season 5 videos have been deleted

I just noticed that all season 5 videos made by Pauline and Allee have been deleted by YouTube (actually the whole channel has been terminated).

YouTube deletes fan made videos and terminates the associated account while keeping hundreds of pirated full episodes of tv shows uploaded by other people even if they're reported.

Hey, YouTube. Have my middle finger.

Anthony Montgomery on Single Ladies

Anthony Montgomery (Ensign Travis Mayweather) recently announced on his Twitter account that he's been picked up for a 4 episode arc on "Single Ladies", a new series not yet released.

There's a 1-minute teaser for the show, you can briefly see Anthony Montgomery exactly on 00:17 (do not blink or you'll miss it). Watch it here:
